I have never seen a conditioner that is clear and not creamy. I was thrown off when I first received this and wondered what it would be like. I wasn't sure how I felt about it with the first use; it didn't make my hair feel very soft and it wasn't easy to brush out my hair with it. It feels kind of like a gel instead of a conditioner. I have now used it 3 times and with this last use I really liked it. My hair did feel soft and very clean. The like that there is no scent because I am sensitive to fragrance. Overall I think this is a great product and although I couldn't look it up on the EWG skin deep database, I think it's pretty clean.

Let's just say this product is top tier. I used this product on my hair after a silk press, and it had my curls come back to life. I am so impressed after using this product. The product doesn't have a scents, which it said on the bottle. Go buy this product.

I love that Paul Mitchell clear Essential Conditioner has no dyes, fragrances, fillers, parabens, or gluten. It is a lightweight conditioner. I didn't think that it was an effective conditioner for my hair. It didn't untangle or condition my fine hair as well as I had hoped.

This conditioner is so strange. Because it's clear you expect it to be more gelatinous but it really has the texture of regular conditioner. It leaves the hair soft and smooth. The packaging is nice because it really shows you that it is free of things like dyes. The smell is pleasant but not overwhelmingly strong.
