Haven't noticed much added volume, but...
...it's definitely effective at stripping product buildup from the scalp, which is its own blessing. Sad that it didn't do much in the volume department, but not every product is compatible with every hair type, alas. Oh well; at least it's an easy call to go try the new curly hair stuff next. Us...

Cleans too well
Wanted to like this product, but in the shower it made my hair super "squeaky " clean and made it feel like straw. I had to pile on conditioner. No thanks! If they make a nourishing one I would try it.

I really love the shape of the bar, it seems it would last me for many washes. It did not work for me though, it stripped my hair so much so that it was super squeaky in the shower and my hair felt like straw. I needed to use extra conditioner to balance it out. No thanks! If they make a more nourishing one I would try it.

Hair Type Straight Hair
I have straight, fine, thin, thinning hair. Shoulder length. I bought this in combo with the smoothing conditioner. It does lather well. I rub it in my hands - not putting the bar directly on my hair. I did not see increased volume. I did gain static cling from mid-length to ends on all 3 days I tried it. Scent was tolerable and I am very sensitive to scents. I returned this. Clarifying shampoo was a little better. No static.
I am in love!
I have been searching high and low for a shampoo that not only leaves my hair clean, but voluminous. This bar of shampoo does both! The lather is amazing, and I can get to every corner of my head with this shampoo more than any other solid or liquid shampoo. My hair feels so light, bouncy, and clean, and the volume is amazing! Definitely buying again!
