BaBylissPRO Style/Switch Ionic Multi-Styler & Dryer

I bought this multi styler with my own money and tried it out a few times. I liked a lot of things about it, but its missing some key features that make it not work the price for me so i will be returning it. Pros: Very light weight, smaller than other multistylers, and also comes with an awesome lightweight soft case, so it would be great for traveling! Love that it has multiple attachments and heat/flow settings so you dont need as many tools. The lowest heat setting is pretty cool which is great for hair health Round brush is a great attachment The concentrator/dryer is powerful and dries hair quickly I LOVE that the diffuser is large, ANGLED, and has prongs Cons: The smoother attachment is horrible if you want to use the plates becuase they only open up a little bit so you have to section your hair into small sections and shove it in. Its like a flat iron that only opens half an inch. I have wavy/curly hair so i dont need a paddle brush attacment Does NOT come with a curling or a straightening attachment and they dont have extra attachments that can be purchased separately And lastly, this isnt a huge deal but I wish the difuser had prongs that could be extended like the shark has, because it would really help with drying my roots/gently targeting different sections of thick hair Overall i love the concept (especially size and weight) and some of the attachemnts. I would repruchase this if they came out with more attachments that could be added on. Unfortauntely as of now it is missing some key features that would make this item worth it for me.

I wanted to love this product so much, but it did mot work for me. I gave it two stars because I would recommend it for anyone who isn't losing hair.

This product is already making misleading claims saying it's the "lightest and smallest on the market" when the Drybar one is much lighter and smaller than this - the comparison is only to Dyson and Shark. I tried this in hopes of that being true, but to me, it felt heavy and bulky. I had the Shark, returned it bc it was so long. I have the Dyson, kept bc it works, but no metal plates for styling except the round brush, so I figured I'd give this one a try. The Dyson is a longer, slimmer design so the weight is distributed nicely. This Babyliss dryer is shorter and stocky, which makes it heavier on the wrist when styling. I will say it comes with a diffuser, so +1 for the curly girls, but not worth it to me even though I have cuy hair. But the ultimate styling tool to me is the Drybar interchangable styler - doesn't make wild claims AND has a curling iron. The Babyliss isn't worth the money and I am returning it.

If you are debating between getting the shark dryer and this one, GET THIS ONE. I purchased the shark one and returned it because it got so hot even on the lowest setting, gave me a crazy amount of frizz, and it was just crazy heavy. I purchased this ine after i returned the shark one and the difference between the two is crazy. This one is lightweight and small but has A TON of power. Doesnt get too hot, but gets hot enough that you can still style it. I have zero frizz and my hair actually feels soft when i finish styling it instead of dry and frizzy. Plus, this dryer is more affordable and comes with the travel bag. The only "complaint" is that the smoothing tool doesnt open very much so it can be a little hard to get your hair in, but it really isnt a big deal at all

I was excited when I found out that I was chosen to review this product! I've used BaByliss PRO hairstyling tools in the past and I recall thoroughly enjoying them. This product is no different in that sense, however the multi-use plus hairdryer is quite the treat! The detangler attachment is my favorite out of the five. It made my hair unbelievably soft and luxurious to feel. The blow dryer is my second favorite attachment in the set. It has three levels of intensity. It quickly and effectively dries your hair; love how it made it feel afterwards! I am extremely grateful to be chosen to review this and if you're in the market for an awesome multi-styler PLUS hair dryer- look no further and give it a try! I think this is a good budget option for a bundle like this. Great performance and quality.
