Doesn't last and is sticky
Product doesnt last on cheeks or lips. You have to constantly reapply evrry 20 minutes. Cant reapply on cheeks because the more you do the more sticky it will be. Just get the black honey lip gloss for a similiar and better effect.
Good for cheeks, not so much for lips
For me, the planned main function of this product was for my lips. I've recently gotten into lip oils, and have used some great ones. I had really high hopes for this given it's Clinique, but I'm afraid it didn't live up to its' name. I really like the almost lipstick in black honey. I would like to start by saying that this product works great for the cheeks. Use and blend-ability was great. It was pigmented sufficiently, and spread nicely around the cheek. It's a beautiful sheer color. As for a lip oil, I put it on, put my lips together like normal, and then all the lip oil was lining my lips. The texture is too thin. Further, it was gone in 15-20 minutes, requiring a lot of reapplication. One would think that, if the lip oil was soaking in so fast, it would at least be good for the skin on my lips. Sadly, it was not. It was drying and my mid-day my lips were peeling from being chapped. Overall, I don't recommend this as a product for your lips given the detriments. I will keep it, but only use it on my cheeks.
hardly visible on cheeks
Looks great on the lips but I have brown skin and put it on my cheeks it completely disappears and it also leaves a sticky feeling since it's a lip oil but overall it's a pretty shade!
Quantity is SO small
I do like the cheek oil and color is great for me. BUT, there's so little in the bottle that it's almost comical. Way too expensive for how quickly I'll go through this.
Thin Formula
This lipgloss is just okay. I had higher expectations from all the hype. It last about 20 mins then needs reapplied, the applicator is tiny. The color doesnt really suit me either. I kept it but would not repurchase.
