Good but not for my hair type, application needs improvement

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have thin density 2a medium texture hair that is currently mid-back length. I tried this product a couple of times. For my first time with this product, I used the accompanying shampoo then the accompanying conditioner beforehand. It says ...to spray the product on damp hair, so that's what I did. Either the spray nozzle needs to be changed or the product viscosity needs to change, because the product didn't come out of the nozzle like a mist. Because of that, the product didn't allow for a more even coverage on my hair and resulted with having too much product applied in some areas. This weighed down my hair a little bit. Because I have thin density hair and my hair texture is barely wavy, I don't have a lot of volume so I prefer products that are lighter. The second time, I didn't use the accompanying conditioner after shampoo and just used this leave-in tonic on damp hair. And instead of spraying it directly to my hair, I sprayed it into my hands, rubbed my palms together to get a more even distribution of product and applied the product with my hands. I think this helped with not having my hair feel weighed down. My hair felt a little softer. However, each time, my hair got greasy/oiler faster, pretty much same day. Whereas, not using these products, I usually can do every other day to wash my hair. There is a scent to it but nothing overwhelming and doesn't linger in the hair after. The packaging is simple and not bulky. This product was ok, except for the application. For me, with the price this product is, I probably wouldn't purchase in the future. It didn't work with my hair and my preferences, but maybe it'd work better with someone with thicker hair type than mine.
