Snif Hot Cakes Eau de Toilette

As somebody who is such a sweet scent, gourmand girl, this was a major disappointment. i smelt vanilla vice in store and loved it, but i've always liked a sweet, syrupy smell so i figured i'd pick up the last hot cakes they had in store, despite them not having a tester for it. boy did i make the wrong choice. it smells quite sickening in my opinion and is definitely something that, subjectively, less people would enjoy. So definitely not a scent to expect to get chased down or frequently complimented for. i made the mistake of applying the perfume right out of the box, got picked up by my boyfriend, and he literally had to roll the windows down as he found the scent to be so unpleasant. i was expecting a syrupy, crem brulee type of scent, but they werent lying when they said that actual pancakes were in the notes as well. the actual hotcake note itself i think is what's throwing me off, it has a weird sorta plastic-y smell to it. if you are like me and instantly expect to love this because you also enjoy the sweet smell of syrup, please smell this in store first as it was definitely a disappointing blind buy for me. i really wanted to love this, but i had to leave this review; i have never worn a perfume i found to be so bad that i had to spray the first body mist in sight all over me to try to get rid of the smell. just take it from me you do not want to blind buy this one based on your impression of the notes in it, give it a try first!

If you want to smell completely edible then this fragrance is for you. I love layering this with their Extra Whip body mist. Those two are absolutely meant for each other :) I literally cannot stop wearing this combo its so delicious!

I purchased this perfume based on reviews alone, and without smelling it first, which can be a scary risk because I can't stand the smell of artificially sweet perfumes. This perfume smells like pancakes cooked in butter with just the right amount of brown crisp and hot maple syrup poured on top. Nothing artificial just an authentic pancake scent! I love the magnetic top and how one mist sprays a generous amount of perfume. I've worn this twice and both times received multiple compliments. I pair it with AOS vanilla cashmere lotion, and the scent lasts 8+ hours on me. Highly recommend if you like sweet bakery scents! My only con is it's only a 1 ounce bottle for about $65 which seems a little pricey, but I'm still going to buy it again lol.

They added a really strong yeast note to this that is the only thing I smell. I can't understand why. There's no yeast in pancakes. Completely ruins it. Also no lasting power at all. Nothing in this collection lasts more than a few minutes.
