I've used the summer fridays lip balm forever and I was hoping this would be a great dupe, its not at all. It's grainy and tastes horrible, I have to immediately wipe it off any time I put it on. Only giving it 2 stars because the applicator is nice and it does give a pretty shine to the lips. Not hydrating at all though.

I love this product! In my opinion it is a dupe for Summer Fridays. I got shade Strawberry Shortcake and it was amazing. It was hydrating and nourishing. I am definitely going to repurchase.

i was so excited about this balm that i bought two shades, strawberry shortcake and java chip. i love them!! the consistency is a little thinner than i expected (if you have tried elfs other squeezy balm, the colorful ones - those are much thicker) but very pleasant. i will say that the java chip shade IS very dark like the packaging, so just be warned if you have pale skin like me. i enjoy a dark gloss so im happy. i think it would be GORGEOUS on deeper skin tones! the srawberry shortcake shade is nearly identical to my natural lip so im glad i got both. :) definitely would try more shades!!
