- Q
Can I apply this after/over vitamin c or hydrating serums?
- Asked by violet
- Official Answer By Anua - Brand EngageThank you for your question! Yes, you can safely apply the ANUA Azelaic Acid 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum after your Vitamin C or hydrating serums. Applying from thinnest to thickest texture is generally the best rule of thumb—just make sure to let each layer fully absorb and dry before applying the next. As for the combination of Azelaic Acid and Vitamin C—these two ingredients can actually complement each other well. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that brightens the skin and helps with pigmentation, while Azelaic Acid works to calm redness, fight acne, and even out skin tone. Used together, they can support a brighter, smoother, and more balanced complexion. However, since both can be active ingredients, we recommend introducing them slowly into your routine (especially if you have sensitive skin) and always following with moisturizer and sunscreen in the morning. Let us know if you’d like a sample routine or further guidance—we’d love to help! Was this answer helpful to you

How much (%) Niacinamide does it contain?

Holy Grail for Rosacea!
I have papulopustular rosacea and deal with redness and white pustuals. I've tried a handful of other azelaic acids and some I didn't care for, while others helped with the pustules, but not the redness. The night I used this, I could feel the difference in the morning. My skin was soft and I had no...

So far, breakout in a bottle
Since getting it, it didn't seem to have any benefit or bad reactions during the first few days. I don't know what in the world happened but I started to get more pimples with usage. The cysts are painful and the pimples around my face makes me feel horrible. This may just be a purging period but so...

Great for Sensitive Skin
I have extremely sensitive and acne prone skin and this product helps calm the redness after my facewash. The serum also feels nice under my usual face cream.
Niacinamide
Be careful when layering this with other skincare containing niacinamide as too much can actually worsen your skin.
