It works like a charm if you don't mind the wair
I have never being fan of Essie nail polishes, I love the color selection but the formula always chips on me the next day. So when I got this as a preset from my friend, I was really skeptical and never used it. However a couple of weeks ago I found myself at my parents home and without a top coat...

Worst EVER!
I buy a ton of Essie nail polish and I love it! So when I saw this top coat I had to have it. I just used it and it's AWFUL! I now have to do my nails over again because it smudged my polish! It also transferred polish all over my Uggs. So my nails and my boots are ruined!!! Glad I kept the package ...

Works great
I use Essie base and top coats exclusively, this goes on under my Good to Go and it's great. My polish usually lasts between 7-10 days and I type 30+ hrs a week. I maintain a free edge so it isn't that the tips arent making contact with anything. I notice different POLISH formulas wear differently, no matter what brand…sheer seems to be more flexible, my neons are closer to a matte formula and chip easier, regular cremes are 50/50. This doesn't say it's a quick dry and if your polish is already thick from evaporation this isn't gonna help.
Don't waste your money

Ruined my manicure. Painted it on in the morning and wasted dry by the time I want to bed. Manicure was a mess when I woke up, not to mention that it chipped on day two. Do not waste your money or time.
Chips Ahoy!

I'd rename this Chips Ahoy. Maybe the least useful topcoat I've ever used. The name almost feels ironic.

Takes a ridiculous amount of time to dry and has ruined my manicure every single time I use it.

base coat.. wait 5 minutes. color coat.. 10 minutes. second coat of color.. 20 minutes. i put this top coat on and touched nothing for over 4 hours, and it never hardened. christmas manicure ruined and 5 hours down the drain. i have used exclusively essie on my nails for almost a decade and am so disappointed they would leave a product like this on the shelves. back to my good to go top coat... sadly not in time for the holidays.
